I've been a college counselor since August 2009 where I work with individual students and families through out the entire college process, including building college lists, application assistance, developing essay strategies, and transitional counseling.
All of my clients have loved the colleges they have chosen, and the majority of them have earned merit scholarships based off of their applications.
I am also a school counselor at Fontbonne Academy where I run Junior and Senior Guidance Classes that help my students through out the entire college process, along with individual counseling sessions through out the students high school career to ensure my students are prepared for the college process.
Process
- Complimentary initial consultation. During this time we will review the entire college process together, and discuss how I can help. It's a great time for us to get to know each other and make sure I am the right counselor for you
- Each student will take a personality interest inventory test, fill out a college questionnaire, and have one-on-one interviews.
- Depending on what your family is looking for we will continue with the process based on your needs. A few starting points could be developing a school list, coming up with a standardized test plan, discuss high school planning, start application process, or talk about essay development and strategies.
- I am here to help you! Each family and student are unique, and this process will be based on those specific needs and wants of each individual.
